Fashion industry goes more and more online, particularly in the South of Italy and Campania According to the results of the study “inside the ebay economy”, conducted by the leading e-commerce platform in Europe, a boom has been reported in Italy for the registrations under the category “clothing and fashion accessories” with a growth by 26%. A positive growth particularly in the South of Italy. In fact, right under the most popular category for professional sellers, that of fashion, it appears to perform particularly well. So well that out of the 5 geographic areas where the largest number of professional sellers is concentrated 4 are in the South of Italy and 3 of them in Campania: Napoli, Caserta, Salerno, plus Bari and Milan, long reknown as the capital city of fashion.
