The 27th edition of Milano Unica, the Italian trade show for Textiles and Accessories hinged on innovation and sustainability. It took place between 10th and 12th July at the Rho Trade Fair in Milan and hosted about 6,000 companies who viewed the top-end collections for the Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 season. Two companies from CIS also attended – Manifattura Foderami Cimmino e Emilio e Renato D’Angelo Di Umberto Sas, and a company based at the Intermodal Hub of Nola (Interporto) called Eton Textile. Backed by the Ministry of Economic Development and its operating arm, the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), this recent edition of the event welcomed 475 exhibiting firms through its doors (up by 4% compared to July 2017) as well as another 132 Companies from the Observers Japan and Korea and from Origin Passion and Beliefs (a Trade Fair for suppliers of semi-finished artisanal products). The 28th edition of Milano Unica will take place from 5th to 7th February 2019 on the premises of Milan Rho Trade Fair.
