THE HIGH QUALITY OF NEAPOLITAN FABRICS “MARRIES” SUSTAINABILITY

There are five CIS Companies from Nola (Naples), on about 300 sqm of occupied exhibition surface, present at the 30th edition of Milano Unica.

These are the Companies Cnc Tessuti Srl, D’Angelo Emilio & Renato di Umberto Sas, Eton Textile Spa, Gruppo Tessile Imparato G.T.I. Spa and Manifattura Foderami Cimmino Srl that fully “embrace” the vision of the main fair for fashion professionals, oriented towards high quality and innovation. In fact, Milano Unica proposes for this edition the “Sustainability Project”, which enhances the companies promoting important process innovations in the direction of a lower environmental impact, and the CIS Companies, during the three days of exhibition, will present their main innovations, precisely in the direction of sustainability and innovation.

Cnc Tessuti will present the SS21 collection, whose most important novelty concerns a greater use of natural fibers in addition to artificial ones which, however, wink at the sustainability of textile products and the possibility of recovering noble fibers. The new collection also looks to the so-called “Gen Z _Gen Future” and focuses on Women, in their increasingly strong role, but also protected in contemporary society.

Emilio & Renato D’Angelo, with the Leadford & Logan brand, also prefers natural fiber items (wool, silk, linen, cotton), thus anticipating emerging ecological trends. The fundamental feature of the collections is based on the coordination of various themes in plain, embroidered and printed fabrics.

For a consciousness fashion, eco-sustainability is the new black” is the slogan of Eton Textile, which boasts the Global Organic Textile Standard, the most important certificate for the sustainable production of clothing and textile products made with natural fibers from organic agriculture (such as organic cotton or organic wool), and offers eco-friendly fabrics and products containing at least 70% of natural fibers from organic farming.

Finally, with the presentation of the new Spring Summer 2021 collections, Gruppo Tessile Imparato focuses on the union of tradition and innovation, which always proves to be a winning combination. Gruppo Tessile Imparato is specialized in textile distribution within “ready-to-wear” fashion, while focusing on state-of-the-art collections and a total quality customer service. All this results in continuous updates of fabrics and colors and in a particular attention to quality control.

Manifattura Foderami Cimmino will present several novelties, in addition to the new Spring Summer Ready-to-wear collection, the catalogs relating to the Carnival and Dance 2020 collections and the new fabrics and colors/designs included in the samples. In line with the needs that fashion loudly demands and with an eye for the “GEN Z“, the novelties will be oriented towards the concept of the “classic & chic” style, with a moodboard capable of inspiring the creation of an original total look, versatile and elegant, especially through the harmonies of trendy colors and prints, expressing the personality of the wearer.

The five Companies are part of a wider commercial system which is CIS, one of the largest B2B distribution centers, specialized in the creation and marketing of Italian Style products, particularly in the Fashion sector.

CIS is an integrated distribution and trade hub, bringing together over 300 companies in 100 product sectors and which responds to every request for products from retailers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, franchisees, shopping centers, department stores, trading companies, purchasing groups, manufacturing industries and yet professionals, craftsmen and street vendors.

The President of CIS, Ferdinando Grimaldi, underlined that “it is extremely necessary for CIS and its many Companies to take part in exhibitions such as Milano Unica, which prove to be a meeting place and exchange point of fundamental experiences for the textile and fashion world. The presence of the five CIS Companies in Milano Unica is a testimony to the great vitality of the textile/clothing sector in our commercial district: in fact, the Milanese event is an important showcase and I am fully convinced that the presence of CIS Companies will increase in the next editions“.
